Culteral Beauty...

I love these images. They really show how innovative styling and a great concept can produce an original, beautiful editorial piece. I also really love the muted pastel tones, they remind me that spring is on its way. Enjoy.

Time to get dirty...

What a wonderful idea, as the text implies on the poster you have to get your hands dirty. The design of this poster means that in order to see the text you have to rub your hands on it making them dirty, and revealing the text. Enjoy.

My dream dressing room...

How amazing is this dressing room! I love how it's not trying to hard, its practical and open so you can see all of your shoes and clothes without everything being ordered into cupboards and boxes like in a museum. I also love the mix of old and new, the bright white walls and the old settee and fireplace. Enjoy.

I love these images, they are so dreamlike, and yet the photos are sharp. I also really like the cream colored background, it gives the images a tactile old-paper quality. Enjoy

My flatmate and I went to the park the other day to shoot some photos for her blog BamBam Chic, here are some of the results. I was inspired by the blog The Cherry Blossom Girl, and the magazine Lula. Enjoy.

Found and not forgotton...

These images are from a project I'm working on using old 'found' negatives. I bought a set of 5 negatives about a month ago from Spitalfields market in London. The project has been on-going and has changed a lot since it started. I posted some photographs before, where I had painted on the developer, these are from the same project. I've shifted the project quite a bit since then, as I could see that the project wasn't really going anywhere. Here I have crumpled the photo paper before I exposed the negatives, to distort the image and to have a similar hide/reveal as the painted on developer. I then photographed the paper crumpled up in the studio, to show the photograph as an object. Enjoy.
