How amazing is this dressing room! I love how it's not trying to hard, its practical and open so you can see all of your shoes and clothes without everything being ordered into cupboards and boxes like in a museum. I also love the mix of old and new, the bright white walls and the old settee and fireplace. Enjoy.Tuesday, 23 February 2010

Winter fashion...

My flatmate and I went to the park the other day to shoot some photos for her blog BamBam Chic, here are some of the results. I was inspired by the blog The Cherry Blossom Girl, and the magazine Lula. Enjoy.

Found and not forgotton...

These images are from a project I'm working on using old 'found' negatives. I bought a set of 5 negatives about a month ago from Spitalfields market in London. The project has been on-going and has changed a lot since it started. I posted some photographs before, where I had painted on the developer, these are from the same project. I've shifted the project quite a bit since then, as I could see that the project wasn't really going anywhere. Here I have crumpled the photo paper before I exposed the negatives, to distort the image and to have a similar hide/reveal as the painted on developer. I then photographed the paper crumpled up in the studio, to show the photograph as an object. Enjoy.
