Beautiful photographs, which cross the mediums of painting and photography. Loretta Lux photographs her friends children in vintage clothes, using a pastel color palette, along with painted backgrounds to create an imaginary environment with a strong visual identity. I've loved her work for years, ever since along with my grandmother, I saw an exhibition in the San Fransisco Moma which included some of her work. They are even more visually impacting in person.
